Advancing Native Missions
for a witness to all the nations
FEATURED THIS WEEK

MUSIC THAT TELLS...

Do you have kids? Do you enjoy music? Do you have a heart for Southeast Asia? Then this is the project for you.

Partner with ANM to produce a musical project that tells not only the Gospel, but the story of one of our native ministries.

All songs on this this 11-song children's CD, have been written by one of our native missionaries, Bong Barredo from Asian Youth and Children Ministries.  For many years Bong has served at camps in the Philippines and even here in our own country. Throughout the years, Bong has been given the chance to write songs to teach Biblical lessons. Until now, these songs were used by a small group; however, we are excited that Advancing Native Missions has been part of God's hands and feet to bring these songs to you.

As many projects like this, upfront costs are incurred and many times a huge step of faith. God has been so good in that He has given us wisdom on how to break up this project into three main phases. By doing this, it makes the budget more bite-sized to allow more people to be involved in the production of this amazing evangelism, advocacy tool.

Thankfully, God has provided already for Phase 1: PROFESSIONAL INSTRUMENTATION/Nashville

but more funds are needed to finish Phase 2: VOCAL RECORDING and Phase 3: MIX, MASTER, PRESS/PRODUCE, DISTRIBUTION

Therefore if you are able, we need your help to finish this project. Any ammount would be helpful in this, but total about $12,000 is still needed.

Upon completion, all proceeds from this CD project will go towards helping Asian Youth and Children's Ministry and other children's ministries that ANM serves.

Lord willing, we are hoping to OFFICIAL RELEASE the CD project by January 2012 at the Children's Pastor's Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Please pray for Bong, and all involved as we continue to seek the Lord regarding this project.
Please join with us in praying that God would bring about a great multitude to help make this project a reality by giving.

Music that tells...

A note from Mindy Spurrier, ANM Next Generation Director: God always has a purpose and a plan. When I first came to Advancing Native Missions (ANM) five years ago, one of the staff said, “Why is God bringing a music teacher to ANM?” Well, to be honest, I myself sometimes wondered why God had taught me so much about music then brought me to a missions organization. But in the last few years, God has been revealing his plans in the most exciting ways. The ANM Next Generation Department, which I direct, has begun developing curriculum for the American church to teach their children about how God is using native missionaries to reach the remaining unreached. With a grateful...

We are here to connect

Today and tomorrow, Advancing Native Missions is at the CMxpo in Lexington, Kentucky. You ask, "Why is a missions organization at a Kidmin conference?" Simply put, we are here to connect children's pastors, their children, and their churches to the native missionaries God is using spread the Gospel...till all hear. For the last few years, ANM's Next Generation Team has been asking the Lord how we can engage the little ones in what He is doing to fufill Matthew 24:14. We've asked the Lord over and over again to build up an army of new advocates who are passionate about the Lord and about His heart, missions. Since writing The 10/40 Expedition, ANM's missions-minded curriculum, we have attended...

Giving away smiles through E-mail

How could E-Mail could bring a smile to our ANM African partners? Well, all you need is a simple brown paper bag, some markers, and away you go. This past May, some of our next generation team went to Ghana as a support team for ANM's 2nd Eagles Conference. This conference is where many of ANM's African partners and wives met to learn from one another, network, and seek the Lord together. Armed with bags of goodies, cards, scripture, and even ring-pops we were ready give smiles to those who serve the Lord's people so faithfully. Each day during the conference we filled the bags with notes and encouraged the Eagles and their wives to do the same. The Encouragement bags also known as, "E-mail"...

ANM: Next Generation

written by Mindy Spurrier Director, ANM Next Generation Team The U.S. Census Department’s World Population Database estimates that in 2010 half of the world’s population was under the age of 35. This constantly changing and growing next generation are our children, youth, college students, teachers, young professionals, young pastors, and young parents.Who are they in relation to God’s plan to evangelize the world? If we allow them, if we train them, and if we pass on God’s heart for the lost to them, they can be the greatest advocates for the gospel the world has ever known. We at Advancing Native Missions see that God is doing a new thing in the global church. In the...
